School of Outdoor Art started as a seed of an idea that has taken small but grounding steps since 2018 to cultivate a nurturing and inquiry led space embedded in the natural environment, hidden in the heart of Cornwall, UK.

Home of the POD Studio© Portable Out Door Studios, School of Outdoor Art allows you to be immersed within nature's yearly cycle of growth, with ease, expressing your own relationship to the natural world around you and your unique place within it.

SOOA also offers outdoor art experiences in a variety of settings and locations and has also worked in association with The National Trust and Trebah Gardens Cornwall.

In partnership with Immerse Outdoors, School of Outdoor Art combines water based experiences with art courses. Also teaming up to design and deliver experiential residencies and research projects.
